Saarbruecken, 8 July 2009 – to new model year Peugeot revalues the middle class series 407. At the same time the offer pallet is tightened.

Less consumption
In the entrance level named Tendance are available now in each case a gasoline and a diesel engine. There is the Benziner with 125 HP as sedan starting from 22,650 euros, the self fuze with 109 HP and particle filters stands for 24,400 euros with the dealer. The SW-Kombiversionen costs in each case 800 euros more. The fuel consumption of the 1,6-Liter-Diesels Peugeot numbers on 4,9 litres per 100 kilometer, that is 0.4 litres less than so far. The CO2-Ausstoß amounts to 129 gram per kilometer.

Changes in the detail
Both sedan and combination exhibit in the future in connection with that 170 HP strong 2,2-Liter-Biturbo-Diesel standard 18-Zoll-Alus. The engine is to be had in connection with the equipments sport and Platinum starting from 29,600 euros. At the price of 300 euros the option “WIP Bluetooth” moves again in the program. Behind it a free speech function for mobile phones and a USB as well as AUX exit hides itself for the connection of external audio devices.
